New

A hundred hours at the machine, at least

A handful of lunch meetings

A few drafts and cuts

A very talented artist that was able to transform my vision and wishes in to something that has a part of me in it

I was somewhat speechless when it was finally placed in my hand. I think I took "custom built" to the extreme

  1. I had the opportunity to see the reel this past Saturday. The only negative thing I can say is that unfortunately the pictures don't come close to doing the reel justice. That is a true work of art and hopefully some day I will be blessed to have 1 of my own.

  2. Ron puts out some very unique and brilliant works of art. His approach is totally different than anyone else out there. You should be proud of your collaboration and end result. A very sweet ride...
Now lets see some pics of it in action ;0) you know...half submursed in a crystal clear flow with the contrast of a giant chrome slab in the backdrop. ;0)

  3. I have been thinking about this reel since viewing this latest BLOG offering...My only criticism ...and its important...is that there is not enough surface area ..this minimalist quality in the design of this reel would render it impossible for me to coat it with fish/egg slime...a feature of my current reel that I have deemed essential for my success.
Might want to rethink this partner
    ;o)

    1. Thank you Gene. LOL.......it is very ported and cut. I am still getting used to it. It a hair lighter than the Islander. My shoulder and elbow will thank me. There is enough fish slime and egg goo on my waders. :0
